InXero is excited to announce that we’ve been selected into the Top 25 list for IBM’s Watson Mobile Developer Challenge out of the hundreds of companies who participated from across the World.
During a keynote address at Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona, IBM CEO Ginni Rometty announced the IBM Watson Mobile Developer Challenge and challenged developers from around the world to create mobile apps using Watson’s cognitive computing capabilities to analyze, discover insights and learn from Big Data powered by IBM Watson, IBM’s supercomputer (and Jeopardy! champion).
For IBM, this challenge marks an important step in realizing the commercial potential of cognitive computing. Watson’s ability to take millions of data points and convert that information into actionable insights has far-reaching implications across multiple industries.
For InXero, working with Watson and IBM is another important step towards reaching our goal of creating economic opportunity for the 50 million reseller businesses across the world, said Anand Raj, Founderati + CEO of InXero. When we first developed the BusinessLive® B2B Reseller Channel Marketing Automation platform, our goal was to empower resellers of any size with the ability to connect with their customers on a more personal level. Cognitive computing is a step forward in creating a more intuitive, personalized experience-- at scale--between vendors, distributors, resellers, and their customers.
Resellers today are faced with an enormous sea of information, and it’s growing exponentially. Smart reseller marketing is focused, automatic, relevant, and timely. In the past, resellers didn’t have the time, expertise and/or the economic resources to engage their customers with the right information across social, web, and mobile to grow their businesses and easily migrate into the digital universe. It’s a complex problem InXero is dedicated to solving, and we’re hopeful Watson will help provide some answers.
It’s time to re-invent reseller channel commerce. It’s time to thrive!
